ONLINE - GDPR Update Workshop
The first two years of GDPR implementation have been eventful. A number of fines have been issued against Data Controllers across Europe. The UK Information Commissioner has issued two Notices of Intent and one fine. No doubt more will follow. What can we learn from these and what can we expect in the future? How are GDPR rights being used by data subjects to protect their privacy? What impact is GDPR having on the Covid 19 data processing operations of councils and the NHS?

In this workshop, Ibrahim Hasan shares his reflections and learnings from the past twenty-four months. He will analyse all the latest cases and enforcement action from across Europe and help you form an action plan for avoiding the attention of the ICO. Ibrahim will also discuss how GDPR and the DPA 2018 after the Brexit Transition Period.
