Course Description

The regulatory framework around employee surveillance has developed over the years almost as fast as the different surveillance methods available to employers. Failure to comply with the law can lead to legal and as well public relations consequences. All employers have to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which will replace the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) on 25th May 2018, when doing surveillance, as they will be gathering and using personal information about living identifiable individuals.

In this webinar, Ibrahim Hasan, will examine the provisions of GDPR as they apply to employee surveillance. The Human Rights and RIPA implications will also be considered.

This webinar is suitable for personnel officers, lawyers, IT staff and auditors.

This webinar is accredited for 1 hour CPD and includes an online test at the end.
