Course Description

What do you need to include in a privacy – or fair processing – notice? Up to now this has been fairly simple. But the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – which will be in force from 25 May 2018 – requires organisations to provide much more detail, but also to be concise. Quite a challenge for those responsible for data protection within their organisation. And if you’re collecting data now that will still be used after May 2018, you will need to ensure that your notices meet the new requirements now - this isn’t something that can be put off until 2018. In this webinar, we will look at what is required now, how the GDPR changes things, what the information commissioner says about privacy notices, and practical approaches to the new requirements.

The fee includes online materials, a test and a certificate. The course carries 1 CPD credit.
